Good, because you came to the right place. Let me teach you about them.
In this world, there are things called "cards." Of which, we don't know when or where they came from. A variety of monsters hold them, which sometimes mean they can be acquired from them. You can receive unique abilities by inserting them into card slots in your Character Window.
If you have 5 or more different cards, purchase Card Synthesis Stones from me and select the [Card Combine] menu. Place the cards and up to 2 Card Synthesis Stones in the Combine Window and press [Combine] to combine the cards.
You'll receive a new card after combining. It is useful when you have many cards.
You can use the Beginner's Card for combining, but I'll give you 2 extra for those wanting to collect. Use them wisely."
