So...well, first things first: Happy New Year! *Uses all inner will to not hug*
Umm...I tried logging into RC to no avail, kinda missed you all guys. Then I got into WP forums to just find your avatar blank and a Goodbye video...
Kinda sad you left RO, because you were truly hardcore, not 'let's-get-max-level-WoE-Stomp-newbies' hardcore, but 'I-love-this-game' hardcore. At least it seems you haven't given up your wiki and you have gone full time in ToS. As I should have expected, you're doing good....Gosh, I wish I were a little like you, in that you don't let obstacles wear you down.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi to you because you are a really nice person (please put the knife away, Zero...) From all the people I met in RO I looked up to you the most (I'm serious, girl put the knife away...) And I truly wish that if I had a sister, she were like you (NOOOO PLEASE NO! DON'T KILL MEEEEEEEEE!)
The English RaidCall got shut down so you'll have to download the Russian version to access the iRO RaidCall since it got moved to the Russian servers. Don't worry, it has an English option so you'll be able to use it.
As for why I'm not in the forums, I'd rather not speak of it here. Just let me know if you have trouble using the new RaidCall client.
As I've said before, I'm with RO until the day it dies. Becoming admin of the Tree of Savior Wiki won't change that and I don't think I'll be working on that wiki full-time. The Ragnarok Wiki still takes up most of my wiki time regardless.
Hello! I wanted to congratulate you on the wonderful job you do with taking care of the wiki. It's contained and informative, and a good reference for current and new players alike. :D However, there's something I wanted to ask about - I'd like to help out a bit, at least with a few articles - adding information and fixing typos - but many of the pages are protected. Is it really a good idea to do that, when so many articles are still works in progress? :o
Only the RO and RO2 pages are editable by registered users, the rest are free-for-all. So as long as you're logged into your Wikia account, you're free to edit RO and RO2 pages.
Even when the RO and RO2 pages were free-for-all, no one bothered to edit them so it doesn't really matter whether they're open to anonymous editing or not. Most anonymous visitors come to vandalize those pages instead of actually helping out so that's why I decided to restrict RO and RO2 editing to registered users only. If you feel they should be open to anonymous editing along with the rest of the site, feel free to bring up the issue in the forums.
Ah! I didn't mean anonymous-editing wise - I actually understand the decision perfectly and don't have any problem with it! What I meant is, the pages don't seem to be editable even when logged in - or am I really, really bad at using wikia? :o
Oh, that's what you meant. Which editor are you using, the classic editor or the current VisualEditor? The classic editor pops up with the wrong warning notice, but the VisualEditor is supposed to show no warning if you try to edit while logged in.
I intended the Ragnarok Wiki as a way to bring all Ragnarok communities together in peace, whereas the iRO Wiki community doesn't care for RO2 or any other licensed Ragnarok products (including the manhwa, which is the main reason why I started work on this wiki in the first place). In addition, iRO Wiki is more concerned with meta-gaming, which I am not experienced with.
Hi there, I am admin on The Breaker Wiki. I would like to invite your wiki in the Korean Comic Affiliation Wiki. It is an Affiliation Wiki of Korean Comic based Wikis. It's purpose is to host events (such as, character tournaments) in order to stimulate the interest of our wiki's contributors. The wiki has been created 2 days ago and discussion about preparing it have started.
If you are interested then please visit the following for more information:
The Ragnarok Wiki doesn't have much of a community yet so there's going to be very little, if any, contribution to the Korean Comic Affiliation Wiki. I will revisit this when there's more of a community here.
