Fritz is the professor of the Tactics Department at the Elemento Academy on Mt. Mjolnir. He teaches students about the finer points of combat and utilizes the Cave of Riddles nearby as a training area.
He is not well-liked by Kalain due to him addressing the Knight with an honorific when they first met.

It is discovered from the warehouse keeper Reto that Fritz was ordering supplies without paying for them. In response, Reto sends Fritz a bill for all that he has taken, which he promptly tears up.
After discovering that a student (the player) he sent to find Roselle failed to return, he goes off to look for him/her near the Cave of Riddles. There he met up with and talked to members of the Freyjanity. He soon takes off when he was approached by Dean Wilfred and Professor Othello. It turns out that Fritz had fallen in with the Freyjanity when he came to believe that the Freyjanity's future plans sounded perfect.
Kalain tries to apprehend Fritz, but was caught off-guard by the former professor's inconceivable strength. Fritz was finally taken out by one of the academy's students whom he taught.
