The mysterious Golden Thief Bug is a Thief Bug whose shell is covered in pure gold. Its size and splendor is superior when compared to other Thief Bugs.[1] A Thief Bug with a shell that shimmers in a brilliant, golden light. Beautiful, but still a nasty bug through and through.[2]
Ragnarok Online II[]
In the initial redevelopment of Ragnarok Online II, the Golden Thief Bug was designed to be gargantuan compared to players. It was later toned down to be more similar in scale to its RO rendition.

The Golden Thief Bug was featured in Ragnarok the Animation.
Trivia[]
- At one point in Ragnarok Online's development, the Golden Thief Bug was planned to lay eggs in order to spawn Thief Bugs to assist her. This was left out of the monster's script upon launch for reasons unknown.[3]
