Dyes are colored substances that are used in Ragnarok Online to change the color of a character's clothing or hair.

Making Dyes[]

The PVP Inn in Morocc.

The first step to dying hair is to create the dyestuff of the color you wish to dye to. Once you've collected the ingredients required for the dye color you want, head to Morocc and find Java Dullihan who will create the dyestuff for you. He is located within the PVP Inn in the room on the right.

Dyeing Hair[]

Once you've created the dye you want, you can either go to the Prontera bank or head to the Lighthalzen General Store's 3rd floor to dye your hair.

Dyeing Clothes[]

Characters may dye their clothing using an Omni Clothing Dye from the Kafra Shop. To dye your clothing, talk to Dinorah Lacostt inside the Prontera dye shop. (You also have the option to dye your clothes via the new Styling Shop.) The dye remains through job changes. To return to your original color, you must purchase a separate ticket and repeat the process.

If you buy a Mysterious Dyestuffs from the cash shop, you can also dye certain headgears.

Only the following colors are available for these headgears: Normal, Yellow, Blue, Brown, Gray, Red.
